801-C organic bentonite rheological additive
Product Description:
The 801-C can be easily dispersed into powder with favorable fineness even in very short time. It is a kind of white powder with high gel transparency and good performance in constancy reinforcement, thixotropic and anti-depositing. It has the gelatin capability to the organic solution from medium to high polarity as well as various hydrogenated oil and the composite linking substance, and it is capable of reproducing thixotropic viscosity at a wide range of temperature.

Usage:
The 801-C product requires the high shear condition and the polarity activator to enhance its dispersion and viscosity reinforcement.
Pre-gel method:

This pre-gel could be added at any step of adjustment procedure, still the best time is before grinding.
Dry powder addition:
801C could be added as dry powder, it still needs polar activator to improve dispersing and thickening properties.
- Add resin/solvent
- Add 801-C, disperse in high speed for 5~10 minutes
- Add polar activator (Ethanol or Acetone with 5% water), high speed disperse for 15~20 minutes
- Add wetting agent, pigment, grind and disperse (whipping, ball-milling, sanding) to the required fineness
- Add other materials in system, disperse continuously to be average
Applications:
All solvent paint and coatings, sealing compounds, lubricating grease and cast coatings, etc.
